It may be possible for you and your partner to discuss and agree directly the arrangements for your children when you separate, such as where they will live and how much time they will spend with each parent.  If not, then we can help you work through the issues to reach an agreement. You may also choose to discuss the issues in mediation or through collaborative law.  We can help you to complete a parenting plan which is a written record of what has been agreed so that you can both understand what has been agreed for the children’s benefit.

If you and your partner are not able to reach an agreement then we can help you with the arbitration process or with a court application, for an arbitrator or judge to decide what the arrangements should be.
