Quality

Raworths has been a pioneer in the application of quality standards to the work of a solicitor's practice. We were one of the first firms in the country to be granted a Legal Services Commission Franchise and we have, as you can see below, since added to our collection of quality standards and specialisms. We are convinced that the discipline of regular external auditing of our systems and service,  although tedious at the time, does help maintain high standards for the benefit of our clients and the firm.

Raworths is a legal disciplinary Limited Liability Partnership (OC 317670) with Solicitor, Legal Executive and corporate members and partners.  We are subject to statutory regulation by the Solicitors Regulation Authority (no. 439478) which demands compliance with the Solicitors Code of Conduct and requires high standards of integrity, confidentiality, continuous professional development and competence.

Our solicitors are members of the Law Society of England and Wales, which regulates the issue of annual practising certificates to solicitors. This process includes their being satisfied about levels of professional indemnity insurance cover and payment of contributions to the Solicitors Compensation Fund.

Legal Executives within Raworths are members of the Institute of Legal Executives and are regulated by ILEX Professional  Standards (IPS) and comply with their Code of Conduct.

In 1999 we achieved the nationally acclaimed Investors in People standard which recognises the investment that we make in our people to help develop our business and provide the best possible service.

In 2000 we became only the 45th firm of solicitors in England and Wales, out of 8000 practices, to be accredited as operating to the Law Society's, Lexcel, Practice Management Standards. This involves an annual external audit, to ensure that we comply with the high Lexcel standards.
