Raworths’ office is officially verified as carbon neutral

Raworths is proud to share that the Harrogate office is officially verified as carbon neutral.

This significant milestone reflects our determined commitment to reducing our carbon footprint and minimising our environmental impact.

As part of the firm’s commitment to supporting its local community, caring for its people and reducing the impact on the environment, we wanted to understand our impact and what we could do about it.  Working closely with consultants Environmental Strategies Limited we measured our carbon footprint, which remains relatively low thanks to the continued collective efforts of colleagues.  To address the emissions we cannot eliminate, for example heating and lighting, we invested in verified carbon credits to fully offset our remaining impact.

Sustainability is embedded into daily life at Raworths.  It helps us to build a more resilient, dynamic and environmentally responsible business.

We are so proud of this achievement, but we know our work doesn’t stop here. We will continue challenging ourselves to find new ways to reduce our environmental impact and drive meaningful, long term change.

The verified figures are based on the firm’s financial year 2024 to 2025.  We will continue to measure our carbon footprint for future years after the end of each financial year.
