We currently have a fantastic opportunity to join our well established Accounts team as a Legal Cashier.

Ideal candidates will be enthusiastic, have a passion for finance and an ability to build positive relationships with both clients and colleagues.

As a key member of a team of five, the main purpose of the role is to support the Finance Manager by undertaking a full range of accounting and cashiering duties in order to deliver outstanding client service.

Duties include:

  • Operating the office and client bank accounts in accordance with the SRA and practice policies
  • Receiving and checking supplier invoices and preparing appropriate payments for authorisation through a variety of methods.
  • Ensuring that the firm complies with the Solicitor’s Accounts Rules and all other regulatory obligations.
  • Operating the office petty cash account
  • Managing overdue accounts and issuing reminders to clients as required.
  • Assisting colleagues with general accounts enquiries and producing appropriate reports when needed.
