Ryan Carter is a Senior Associate in Raworths’ Trusts, Wills and Estates team, advising high net worth and ultra high net worth individuals, entrepreneurs and business owners on the full spectrum of personal wealth and succession planning.
Ryan specialises in designing bespoke estate and succession strategies, often involving complex family structures, business and agricultural interests and intergenerational wealth. He prepares tailored Wills and Codicils that reflect clients’ long term objectives, protect significant assets and support smooth transitions to the next generation.
He has substantial experience in Court of Protection work, including advising on, preparing and registering Powers of Attorney and managing deputyship applications for clients with vulnerable family members or significant estates requiring ongoing oversight.
Ryan also guides executors through every stage of estate administration, from obtaining grants of probate to navigating the practical, legal and tax considerations involved in administering substantial and often multifaceted estates.
In October 2021, Ryan became a full member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), a globally recognised benchmark of expertise in trusts, estates and inheritance planning.
