Seven Recommendations Sets Law Firm’s Record

The Harrogate law firm, Raworths, has received seven recommendations in the national and international guide to law firms, Legal 500. This is a record number of recommendations for the firm and follows the recent inclusion of three Raworths partners in Chambers UK Directory 2014.

The seven areas of expertise for the firm in the area covering Leeds, West and North Yorkshire are Corporate and Commercial, Employment, Commercial Property, Commercial Litigation, Family Law, Agriculture and Estates and Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate,

Agriculture partner William Kinread receives a special mention in the guide as ‘particularly efficient. His practice includes advising on sales and purchases of agricultural land (often with linked overage agreements), options and planning matters.’  William is amongst a team of agricultural specialists which has been established at the firm to cater for the legal requirements of those living and working in rural areas across the county.

Head of Corporate at Raworths, partner Simon Morris says, “Our geographical area is dominated by some of the most substantial law firms in the UK which operate out of Leeds. It is therefore especially gratifying to demonstrate through the Guide that we can punch above our weight in this very competitive environment. The Guide points to ‘the thriving entrepreneurial spirit that exists in and around Yorkshire’ and we certainly aim to support that spirit and those individuals who are driving the economy forward and creating jobs and wealth in our area. Recognition for the firm across such a wide area of expertise is a real signpost for businesses and private clients alike that professionalism and experience at the highest level are available right on their doorstep.’
