Recognition for Raworths

Following national recognition for Harrogate law firm, Raworths, in the Chambers Legal Directory, the firm has also received recognition in no less than four areas in the other national and international guide to law firms, Legal 500.

Raworths achieved mentions in Family Law, Dispute Resolution: Commercial Litigation, Private Client: Personal Tax, Trusts and Probate, and Commercial Property in the geographic area that covers Leeds, West Yorkshire and North Yorkshire. In the Dispute Resolution category, Raworths was one of only two firms in the area to achieve recognition. Commercial Property was also amongst the areas of expertise listed by the Chambers Directory for this year.

Jonathan Mortimer, partner and head of Dispute Resolution at Raworths says, “We are delighted the firm has achieved listings in both the major national guides for the profession, which is a real indication of the strength in depth we have at Raworths.”

Senior partner, Christopher Butterworth says, “The two guides, Legal 500 and Chambers, are an excellent benchmark for where we stand in the profession and demonstrate that when other firms are being forced to amalgamate or, in the worst cases, close down altogether, we are going from strength to strength. Our 125 year history is in itself a badge of the strength of our traditional values to our clients, both commercial and private.”
