New Property Head at Harrogate Law Firm

Harrogate based law firm, Raworths has strengthened its management team with the appointment of Alasdair Inglis from international law firm Pinsent Masons as head of Commercial Property.

Alasdair has worked in the commercial property sector for 14 years and has a wide range of experience in dealing with Landlord and Tenant, Investment, funding and development work acting for both private and public sector clients.

After qualifying with Julian Hey in York Alasdair joined Pinsent Masons in Leeds as part of their commercial property team. Apart from a three-year stint at Cobbetts in Leeds, Alasdair has remained at Pinsent Masons until his move to Raworths to become department head at the Harrogate law firm.

Alasdair Inglis says: “My commercial property work over the years has been extremely varied. The opportunity that Raworths presents is one where I can call upon this experience to consolidate and to expand the range and type of work the department carries out. The Raworths team is highly rated by Chambers Directory 2013 as ‘a forward-thinking practice’ and is recommended by Legal 500. I am delighted to be joining such a well-motivated, experienced and talented team and intend to add to its success”

Managing partner, Zoe Robinson says, “Alasdair is a key appointment for the firm, reasserting our position as leader in the commercial property field in the area. It seems that the opportunity to work for a well-established firm in Harrogate’s prosperous economic climate continues to attract some of the top talent from the big international firms in Leeds.”
