Networking Group for The Town’s Future

A networking group for the future business leaders of Harrogate is launching a new season of activities and a website to encourage tomorrow’s businessmen and women to get to know like-minded professionals and expand their network of business contacts.

The first event for Future Harrogate is taking place at Cardomom Black on Cheltenham Parade on Thursday 4th October from 5.30 to 7.30pm and will be the first of a series of free quarterly events which will be informal and relaxed. Future events will range from simple get-togethers to more structured events with a guest speaker or a wine-tasting.

Matt Hill of Raworths Solicitors, one of the organisers behind the group says, “We are reaching out to professionals and business people who would like to meet up and make connections. The group aims to target the very people who will be at the forefront of Harrogate’s economy and success in the years ahead. We are conscious that, for some of those people, the conventional networking groups may be targeted at managing directors and owners of businesses and that there are many more junior, ambitious professionals already making a success of their careers who would like to meet people like themselves. We hope that the informal approach to our events and the opportunities to meet fellow professionals at a similar point in their career will encourage business people to come along.”

Nick Rahman of Cardomom Black who is hosting the next event says, “We are delighted to be hosting the next Future Harrogate event. This is an exciting organisation and we are very pleased to support it.”

The new website www.futureharrogate.co.uk has more information about the group and includes photographs from earlier events. For more information on how to get involved or to attend the next event contact mail@futureharrogate.co.uk or click here to use the contact form on the website.
