Bank of England Representative to Speak at Business Event

Will Holman, who represents the Bank of England in Yorkshire and the Humber is the keynote speaker at Raworths Breakfast Club to be held on Tuesday 25th February at the Imperial Rooms at Bettys in Harrogate.

Will Holman will present the Bank’s current view of the economy, show the Bank’s latest forecasts for growth and inflation, and describe the outlook for interest rates. The event comes shortly after the Bank of England’s latest forecasts are released in mid-February and businesses large and small will be focussed on the likely effects on the Yorkshire economy. Will is Deputy Agent for the Bank in Yorkshire and the Humber and holds bachelors and masters degrees in economics. Before joining the Bank, Will worked as an economist in the private sector and in government, most recently at an economics consultancy and the communications authority Ofcom.

Other speakers at the event are Alasdair Inglis, Raworths’ new head of Commercial Property, who recently joined the firm from Pinsent Masons in Leeds, who will be speaking on commercial leases and Victoria Notman, who will be talking about how to protect business from poaching, pilfering and profiteering by departing employees.
