My debtors make me see red - what can I do?
Overdue accounts, whether large or small can cause cash flow problems that can seriously hamper your business. By using our computerised debt collection service, you can speed up the process that leads to payment of your money; improve your cash flow and give yourself peace of mind.
What is your debt collection policy?
Most businesses seem to collect debts irregularly, only acting when the situation gets out of hand. This can involve a great deal of inconvenience and time-consuming work which can bring added pressure.
We have found that debts are best collected as an extension of an organised credit control system and before the debtor has a change of fortune and disappears.
Why should I use Raworths Debt Collection Service?
As solicitors, we have found that a letter from us may be all you need for a debt to be settled. However, many debtors will not pay until taken to Court and the writing of numerous letters merely puts off the day when proceedings have to be issued. If we have to issue a summons on your behalf, we can claim 'solicitors costs' in addition to the Court fees from the debtor - which means that the debtor pays a large part of the costs incurred in collecting the debt.
How does the computer help?
Our computer does most of the work for you. It scans every debt every working day, then takes the appropriate action to secure payment for you. It writes letters, issues Court proceedings, sends reminders and even reports to you should a debt become dormant.
How efficient and economical is the system?
Because of its efficiency, it becomes possible to use our computer to collect the small debts that are probably written off by you at present. Accounting is made easy, together with money owed to you, we send a detailed statement showing movements on your debts since the last account. This is usually done monthly which improves your cash flow.
Is it suitable for large and small debts?
Yes it is. We can cater for a business with two or three overdue accounts a months just as efficiently as we can for large organisations with large volumes of debts.
How much will it cost?
This depends on the type and volume of your debts. The basis of charging is very flexible, and we are sure we can arrange terms to suit you.
