Newly-qualified solicitor, Renato Peral has taken part in the 2008 Flora London Marathon to raise funds for Cancer Research UK and Scope. Renato has recently joined the Corporate/Commercial team at Raworths LLP and qualified as a solicitor in March.
Whilst this was Renato’s first marathon, he has previously run two half-marathons and a triathlon. He has also been a junior Yorkshire 100m butterfly champion.
‘Cancer affects one person in three in the United Kingdom and one in four hundred children born in the UK is born with cerebral palsy so these are very important causes.’ Renato completed the marathon in an impressive 3 hours 58 minutes.
