Coffee mornings and fundraising events helped staff at Raworths LLP to raise £1,000 for the Macmillan Dales Unit at Harrogate Hospital.
The staff at Raworths LLP chose the Dales Unit as their charity over four years ago and have raised funds for the Unit ever since. The latest cheque is helping to pay for the refurbishment of a private counselling room and a complementary therapy room.
Sister Carrie Ross said ‘The contribution was invaluable to keep these complimentary resources available, as they made such a huge difference to the patients. Without these donations we could not run these services for the patients.’
Sarah Townsend, a member of the commercial team at Raworths, says, ‘I am delighted that we can continue to support the Dales Unit in this way. We will continue to fundraise on their behalf at our offices in Harrogate and Knaresborough.’
